Former Tech Mahindra President Jagdish Mitra Launches AI-Powered Venture ‘Humanize’

Jagdish Mitra, former President of Tech Mahindra India, has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with the launch of his new venture, Humanize—a cutting-edge Generative AI-powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. Headquartered in the United States with offices in Delhi and Bengaluru, Humanize integrates Generative AI with low-code/no-code solutions, offering a unique platform aimed at accelerating time-to-market for enterprises.

Strategic Investment and Expansion

Humanize has secured an undisclosed investment from digital talent solutions provider NLB Services. This funding will be channeled towards scaling technology and R&D, enhancing the AI platform, developing Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and expanding the workforce. The company plans to initially focus on markets in India, the Middle East, the U.S., and Global Capability Centers, with long-term plans to explore regions like Southeast Asia, Germany, the Nordics, the UK, Australia, and Japan.

Aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat Scheme introduced in the Union Budget 2024-2025, Humanize also aims to employ over 100 interns in its initial years.

A Vision for the Future

Jagdish Mitra, Founder & CEO of Humanize, shared his vision: “Humanize’s mission is to accelerate time-to-market by leveraging the synergy of AI and SaaS (low-code/no-code). We believe the future of technology services will be driven by AI-led solutions that are business-centric.” He further highlighted the company’s goal of onboarding 80-100 customers and building a team of 800-1,000 professionals within the first five years. The revenue model is expected to shift towards a non-linear approach, capitalizing on the AI platform.

Industry Impact and Growth Prospects

Humanize will offer a sector-agnostic portfolio with a focus on AI-driven Industrial SaaS solutions across BFSI, Retail & Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Technology & Media, and Automotive sectors. The company’s “services as a software” model promises a 20% reduction in implementation time through innovative zero-touch design, documentation, testing, and customization processes.

As the global Generative AI market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 40% over the next decade, Humanize is well-positioned to capitalize on this expanding market, potentially adding $280 billion in new software revenue.

NLB Services Perspective

Sachin Alug, CEO of NLB Services, commented on the investment, “AI has been at the forefront of technological advancements, and this investment will enable us to expand our service offerings and create new avenues to collaborate with our global clients. We look forward to working closely with Humanize to drive innovation in the tech industry.”
