Google Unveils AI Tools ‘Jules’ for Coding and ‘Stitch’ for UI Design at I/O 2025

At Google I/O 2025, Google introduced two powerful AI tools—Jules, an AI coding assistant, and Stitch, a UI design generator.

Jules is an asynchronous coding agent that integrates with your repositories, securely clones your codebase, and helps write, test, and debug code. It even generates changelogs and updates dependencies, positioning itself as a competitor to tools like Cursor.

Stitch, powered by Gemini 2.5 Pro, allows developers to convert text and image prompts into fully designed UIs with export-ready frontend code. Ideal for rapid prototyping, Stitch lets users try out different layouts and seamlessly add designs to apps or other tools.

Both tools are currently accessible through Google Labs (Beta).
